Amazingly Impressive! Experience the Ongoing Action at the Worksite First-Hand
〜National Route 208 Ariake Engan Road〜
On September 16, 2017, the Ariake Engan Road linked the four cities of Omuta, Miyama, Yanagawa and Okawa in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Currently, construction continues on this road stretching to Saga Prefecture.
Visitors can actually experience the ongoing action at the construction worksite, to live a moment in which the road is being built.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see, touch and experience the large-scale architectural construction of bridges and roads.
In 2018, we gave around 30 tours to more than 700 people, from small children and high school students who may support the future of such public works, to adults.
Tours are held on weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and visitors will be able to see the best worksite of the season in which they wish to visit.
