〜A hybrid pumping station that combines a pumping facility with a cultural facility〜

Taking advantage of its excellent location Gionmachi, Hakata Ward, the central part of Fukuoka City, this pumping station (a sewerage facility) has become a hybrid facility that uses its upper space (4th floor) to provide a cultural space in the form of a small theater in which concerts and plays are performed.
The PR section that has been permanently established on the 2nd floor also offers readily-accessible explanations of the structure and the role of the sewerage system by means of panels and other media, and provides information about the sewerage system to local citizens.
