Nukui Dam

〜Prepare yourself to get soaked during a powerful discharge〜

Nukui Dam, located in Akiota Town, Yamagata District, Hiroshima Prefecture, conducts discharges between April and early June each year.
It is the second highest arch dam in Japan, and it emits a powerful discharge from a height of 156 m (500 L per second).
You can watch the discharge from below the dam while feeling the spray against your skin.

Also, visitors are able to experience discharge equipment that is not usually opened, and for three days in golden week, they can climb the dam stairs.
