The Tsuruda Dam got a fresh start following a large-scale redevelopment project, after incurring major floodwater damage in the past. Visitors can see areas that are normally unavailable for viewing, such as the dam operations room, the management tunnel inside the dam and the outlet gate room. Our dam concierge will show you around every corner of the dam.
To add to this, next to the Tsuruda Dam is the Sendai River Otsuru Yuyu Museum, where you can learn about the history of the Tsuruda Dam.
