Yokkaichi Port

Did You Know? Yokkaichi Is a Treasure Trove of Night Views!

〜Enjoy the night view of the harbor from both the sea and land〜

The petrochemical complex at Yokkaichi Port is the first of its kind in Japan, and was developed as a base for industry in the Chubu region. The night views made possible by the complex make this one of the best places in Japan to view such factory lights.
On the Yokkaichi Complex Night View Cruise, visitors can enjoy the shimmering night views of the factories while listening to explanations from the cruise tour guide. The tour offers various night views to enjoy, such as night views with a sense of depth and lights reflected on the water’s surface.
The Yokkaichi Port Building was certified as a “Night View Heritage of Japan (facility-type night view heritage)” in 2015. At this building, visitors can enjoy both a spectacular panorama and an impressive close-up view from the observation room.
