At this facility, we show the entire process behind how waste water flows in and is purified, once again becoming water that is ready for use. Visitors can also see things not seen in typical tours of sewage treatment plants, such as how sewage is converted into a resource.
For example, visitors can see large work vehicles moving around fertilizer, which is made using the sludge generated from sewage. It’s really quite interesting.
Our plant sells 1,600 tons of fertilizer each year, but the product quickly sells out.
Also, manhole cards are provided free of charge to those who visit the center. Why not come for a tour and collect your card as well?
