The Yokokawa Dam operates, creates, and develops human resources in harmony with the surrounding white forest. Visitors to the dam are able to experience the wonder and power of the four seasons in a place that operates on the basis of this philosophy. Tours of the dam can be conducted at any time with advance notification (Weekdays 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.). There is parking space for about twenty cars in the area, but it is best to make an early reservation. You can learn about the natural environment of the dam’s watershed and the history and operation of the dam in the information area “Kitekurokan,” which is located close to the dam.
